Good Belly is a NY Deli-inspired sandwich shop specializing in corned beef and pastrami made in house.

First came love… then came pastrami! Jess and Jeff met working together in Durham, NC. After years of building a successful business together for someone else they moved to Louisville, KY in hopes of starting their own business. Here Good Belly was born!

Good Belly stands for food made-from-scratch. From matzo ball soup with chicken consommé, to apple butter, sauerkraut and pickles, Jess and Jeff believe the only way to serve people is with food they’re proud to put their names on (and food they crave)!

Good Belly pastrami and corned beef is their pride and joy! Deep respect for tradition and history is practiced with each batch. Always made in house, Good Belly pastrami and corned beef takes no less than 28 days to prepare. Jess and Jeff hope you taste the authenticity, dedication, hard-work, time and love that goes into each sandwich.

After two years in the food truck the decision was made to transition into a brick-and-mortar and after a year of searching the perfect space was found. Now open at 2216 Dundee Rd. in the Douglass Loop of Louisville, KY.
